About WEMIX (WEMIX)
Layer-1 blockchain
WEMIX (WEMIX) is a Layer-1 blockchain — a base network with its own consensus, validators, and native coin (WEMIX) used to pay fees and secure the chain. Developers build applications directly on it, and WEMIX is the asset that powers the whole ecosystem.
How does WEMIX work?
The WEMIX network is maintained by a distributed set of participants who validate transactions and add them to the blockchain. WEMIX is required to pay for transactions and, on many networks, to stake and help secure the chain in exchange for rewards.
What is WEMIX used for?
WEMIX pays network fees, can often be staked for yield, and serves as the core unit of value across apps built on WEMIX. Demand for WEMIX tends to track activity and adoption on the network itself.

How a WEMIX swap works
Enter the amount you want to exchange, pick the asset on the other side, and SwapRocket queries every connected exchange partner at once. You choose an offer, paste the wallet address that should receive the funds, and send WEMIX to the deposit address shown. The partner executes the trade and pays out to your address — SwapRocket never holds your coins, and there is no account to create before you start.
Choosing a rate for WEMIX
Three offers are presented for every WEMIX exchange. The best rate returns the largest amount for the size you entered. The fastest route favours the partner with the shortest expected settlement time, which matters when the market is moving. The fixed rate locks the quoted amount for the duration of the order, so what you are shown is what arrives, at the cost of a slightly smaller payout. Floating offers can move with the market between deposit and settlement.
Networks and addresses for WEMIX
WEMIX settles on WEMIX. Always send from and to an address on that network: a deposit sent over a different chain cannot be recovered by the exchange partner. When an asset exists on several chains, pick the matching network in the widget before copying the deposit address, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.

Games need a chain that answers fast and behaves predictably. How did WEMIX3.0 set out to deliver that, and what job does the WEMIX coin do on it?
WEMIX3.0 is an Ethereum-compatible public blockchain from the games company WEMADE, run by 40 vetted node partners under a stake-based proof-of-authority design. WEMIX is its native coin: it pays for activity on the chain, is staked by the partners who make blocks, and has a capped supply of 590 million.
A chain built for games and apps
The WEMIX3.0 documentation describes the network as an ecosystem for apps, games, DAOs, DeFi and NFTs. It is EVM-compatible, forked from Ethereum, so contracts are written in Solidity and existing Ethereum tooling carries over.
The headline specifications in the docs are 40 Node Council Partners, a maximum throughput of 4,000 transactions per second and a Permanent Minting Reward per block. Around the chain sit three services: WEMIX PLAY for blockchain games, NILE for DAOs, and decentralized finance.[1], [2], [3]
Stake-based proof of authority
WEMIX calls its consensus Stake-based Proof of Authority (SPoA). Only approved members, the authorities, can produce blocks, which is what makes fast, predictable block times possible. The twist is that each authority must also stake WEMIX, giving it something to lose if it misbehaves.
Becoming an authority is a published process: a clear identity, a legal contract with the WEMIX Foundation, disclosure of basic information and WEMIX staked to the registry contract. An existing member then proposes the newcomer, and more than half of current members must approve.
Block producers are chosen using etcd, an open-source implementation of the RAFT agreement method, rather than through a mining race. The documentation explains that the team found proof of work and proof of stake unsuitable for the real-time public service it wanted.[4], [5], [6]
Governance on-chain
Rules that can change, such as adding or replacing an authority member, are held in a governance contract and decided by vote. Results finalised in block n take effect from block n+1, so changes land at a precise, auditable point.
The docs describe two phases of voting power: in Phase 1 votes were weighted by the amount staked, and in Phase 2 every authority receives equal weight. Staking itself is done only through the official Governance dApp.[7]
Supply after the Brioche hard fork
WEMIX's minting page says the Brioche hard fork permanently capped maximum supply at 590 million WEMIX. It also introduced halving to the per-block reward: minting began at 1 WEMIX per block (86,400 a day, 31,536,000 a year), the first halving cut annual minting to about 15 million, and the reduction repeats every 63,115,200 blocks.
Alongside the cap, the foundation says it reorganised its holdings by function and burned a significant portion of the remaining tokens. WEMIX also follows the ERC-20 standard, so it can be bridged to other EVM chains.
Read together, these pages describe a chain that put predictability first. Block producers are known and accountable, the voting rules are written into a contract, and the coin's issuance follows a published, shrinking schedule with a fixed ceiling. That combination suits a games-led ecosystem where players and studios want quick confirmations and steady costs more than open, anonymous block production. The trade-off is plain in the documentation too: joining as an authority is a vetted, contractual step, not something anyone can do from home. For holders, the useful takeaway is that the rules governing WEMIX's supply and block producers are documented in one place and can be checked against the chain itself.[8], [9], [10]
What remains unknown
Current circulating supply, the present per-block reward after recent halvings and the live list of Node Council Partners are UNKNOWN from the documentation used here; check the chain explorer for current figures.
What this means when you hold or move WEMIX
WEMIX lives on the WEMIX3.0 mainnet and can also appear as a bridged token on other EVM chains. Confirm which network the receiving wallet or exchange expects, and send a small test amount first.
