About USDD (USDD)
Stablecoin
USDD (USDD) is a stablecoin — a cryptocurrency designed to hold a steady value, typically pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. It lets you move value across crypto markets and wallets without the price swings of assets like Bitcoin or Ethereum.
How does USDD stay stable?
USDD aims to keep its dollar peg through reserves and on-chain mechanisms that back each token in circulation. Because it settles on the TRX network in seconds, it's widely used for trading, payments, and parking funds between trades without converting back to a bank account.
What is USDD used for?
Traders use USDD as a safe haven during volatility, as the quote currency in swaps, and to send dollar-denominated value worldwide at low cost. It's one of the most common assets to swap into and out of when entering or exiting other crypto positions.

How a USDD swap works
Enter the amount you want to exchange, pick the asset on the other side, and SwapRocket queries every connected exchange partner at once. You choose an offer, paste the wallet address that should receive the funds, and send USDD to the deposit address shown. The partner executes the trade and pays out to your address — SwapRocket never holds your coins, and there is no account to create before you start.
Choosing a rate for USDD
Three offers are presented for every USDD exchange. The best rate returns the largest amount for the size you entered. The fastest route favours the partner with the shortest expected settlement time, which matters when the market is moving. The fixed rate locks the quoted amount for the duration of the order, so what you are shown is what arrives, at the cost of a slightly smaller payout. Floating offers can move with the market between deposit and settlement.
Networks and addresses for USDD
USDD settles on TRX. Always send from and to an address on that network: a deposit sent over a different chain cannot be recovered by the exchange partner. When an asset exists on several chains, pick the matching network in the widget before copying the deposit address, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.

USDD is a dollar stablecoin that started on TRON and is now minted against locked crypto collateral. How do its vaults, collateral ratios and liquidation auctions work together to keep one USDD worth one dollar?
There are several ways to build a dollar stablecoin. Some hold bank deposits and Treasuries. Others lock up more crypto than the stablecoins they issue, so that a fall in collateral value can be absorbed before it reaches holders. USDD's current documentation describes the second approach: users open vaults, deposit collateral above a minimum ratio, and mint USDD against it, while an auction system handles vaults that fall below the line. This profile explains how that works, using USDD's own documentation and data services.
Minting against collateral
USDD's system architecture describes an over-collateralization model. A user locks approved assets, such as TRX or USDT, in a vault and can mint USDD up to a limit set by the minimum collateral ratio for that asset.
Because each vault holds more value than the USDD it issued, the system has a buffer when collateral prices move.[1]
Liquidations and auctions
If a vault's collateral falls below its required ratio, the architecture documentation describes a liquidation process. The collateral is sold through an auction system, and the proceeds cover the USDD that vault issued.
Clear, automatic rules like these are what let a collateral-backed stablecoin stay whole without depending on any single party to step in.[2]
Several networks, one official list
USDD's documentation publishes official contract addresses for each network. On TRON, USDD is TCrEVahRbhDFB6uRXEWUg7wkptXvg47GKs. It is also listed on Ethereum at 0x4f8e5DE400DE08B164E7421B3EE387f461beCD1A and on BNB Chain.
The same page lists the collateral asset contracts the system accepts, so users can check both the stablecoin and what backs it.[3], [4]
Open data on supply and collateral
USDD runs a public data service that anyone can query without an access key. Its documentation lists read-only endpoints for supply, yield, collateral and vault information.
That makes it possible for outside developers and analysts to follow how much USDD exists and what stands behind it, without relying only on announcements.[5], [6]
From TRON to a wider footprint
USDD began as a TRON-based stablecoin, and TRON remains its main network, where addresses use the familiar T-prefixed format.
The official homepage presents USDD as a multi-network stablecoin, and the documentation now centres on the vault system described above.[7], [3]
Why over-collateralization is used
A stablecoin backed by crypto has to deal with the fact that crypto prices move. Requiring each vault to hold more collateral than the USDD it issues gives the system room to absorb price drops before any shortfall appears.
Each collateral type has its own minimum ratio, so assets that move more sharply can be asked to provide a larger buffer. Combined with automatic liquidations and a public data service, this lets anyone see the rules that protect the peg and follow how much collateral stands behind the supply at any time.
The same approach is used by several well-known decentralized stablecoins, which makes the model familiar to experienced users.[8], [6], [2]
How collateral settings change
Collateral ratios and liquidation thresholds are central to how safe each vault is. The documentation reviewed does not spell out whether these settings are adjusted by governance vote, a multisignature group or an automatic rule.
How they are changed is UNKNOWN from public sources and is not guessed at here.[1]
What this means when you hold or move USDD
SwapRocket lists USDD on TRON (TRC-20). Send it only to a TRON address starting with T from a wallet or service that supports TRC-20 tokens, keep some TRX or energy for network fees, and confirm the contract address in USDD's documentation.
USDD on Ethereum and BNB Chain uses different contracts and addresses. Match the network in your quote to the receiving side, and keep the transaction ID until the order completes.

What fees apply when I swap USDD?
SwapRocket adds no fee or markup to the provider's quote and may earn a commission from the provider on a completed swap. Spreads vary by provider, pair and size, so compare the quoted receive amount.
