About OriginTrail (TRAC)
Crypto token
OriginTrail (TRAC) is a crypto token on the ERC20 network. It powers its project's ecosystem — used for things like access, governance, fees, or rewards — and trades freely against other digital assets.
How does TRAC work?
OriginTrail runs as a token on the ERC20 network, which means it benefits from that chain's security and tooling while serving the specific role its project defines — for example governance votes, platform fees, staking, or in-app utility.
What is TRAC used for?
Holders use TRAC to participate in the OriginTrail ecosystem and to gain exposure to the project's growth. As with any token, its value is tied to real usage and demand for what the project offers.

How a TRAC swap works
Enter the amount you want to exchange, pick the asset on the other side, and SwapRocket queries every connected exchange partner at once. You choose an offer, paste the wallet address that should receive the funds, and send TRAC to the deposit address shown. The partner executes the trade and pays out to your address — SwapRocket never holds your coins, and there is no account to create before you start.
Choosing a rate for TRAC
Three offers are presented for every TRAC exchange. The best rate returns the largest amount for the size you entered. The fastest route favours the partner with the shortest expected settlement time, which matters when the market is moving. The fixed rate locks the quoted amount for the duration of the order, so what you are shown is what arrives, at the cost of a slightly smaller payout. Floating offers can move with the market between deposit and settlement.
Networks and addresses for TRAC
OriginTrail settles on ERC20. Always send from and to an address on that network: a deposit sent over a different chain cannot be recovered by the exchange partner. When an asset exists on several chains, pick the matching network in the widget before copying the deposit address, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.

OriginTrail spent years tracing physical goods before the AI boom arrived. Why does that supply-chain past matter to a token now pitched as memory for machines?
OriginTrail's current language is full of AI agents, shared memory and knowledge graphs, but its instincts were formed in warehouses rather than chat windows. The founders spent years confronting a mundane problem: companies could exchange data, yet each party kept its own version of what happened to a product. OriginTrail built a way to connect those claims with provenance. TRAC became the economic thread holding the network together. The surprising continuity is that an AI agent and a food shipment face a similar question — where did this information come from, and who has reason to preserve it?
Before agents, there were supply chains
OriginTrail grew around traceability: manufacturers, logistics companies and retailers needed to join records without surrendering every database to one owner. Its public examples include Swiss rail infrastructure, healthcare, construction and a factory-auditing system the project says covers a substantial share of goods imported into the United States. These are not token stories on the surface. They are stories about reconciling claims made by organisations that do not share one ledger.
That history explains why OriginTrail calls its system a Decentralized Knowledge Graph rather than a data marketplace. A graph connects entities and relationships — a component to a batch, a certificate to an issuer, a claim to its source. Decentralisation supplies a common publication and verification layer while businesses can still keep sensitive working information private.[1], [2], [3], [4]
A piece of knowledge becomes an asset
In the DKG, structured information can be published as a Knowledge Asset. The asset carries provenance and an on-chain anchor, while graph data remains queryable. This is more nuanced than storing a document directly on a blockchain. The chain records ownership and verifiable state; the network's nodes store and serve the connected knowledge.
The obscure but revealing design choice is that a Knowledge Asset can change without losing its trail. New states can be committed over time, so a record can remain useful after the first publication. That suits the physical world, where a shipment moves and a certification expires, as well as research or AI, where a conclusion may be revised when better evidence arrives.[5], [6], [7]
The AI pivot is really a return to provenance
OriginTrail's newest architecture gives agents three kinds of memory. Working Memory stays local and private. Shared Working Memory lets selected peers collaborate. Verifiable Memory anchors mature knowledge so others can inspect its origin and history. Information can therefore move from a private scratchpad toward a durable public claim instead of forcing every thought on-chain from the beginning.
Context Graphs give teams or agents a shared space, while open formats are intended to keep that memory portable between tools. The future use case is not merely a chatbot that remembers a preference. It is a group of agents that can share evidence, avoid duplicating work and distinguish a tentative note from a claim someone has deliberately made verifiable.[8], [9], [10]
TRAC pays for durable attention
TRAC is used when knowledge is published and maintained on the DKG, and node operators participate in storing and serving it. The token links a publisher who wants information preserved with infrastructure providers willing to keep that information available. OriginTrail also runs across more than one blockchain environment, so the DKG's knowledge layer is not meant to belong to a single base chain.
That economic design creates a genuine dependency: useful knowledge needs publishers, nodes and consumers. An on-chain fingerprint cannot prove that an original statement was truthful; it proves provenance and integrity after publication. OriginTrail can make a claim easier to trace and challenge, but human and institutional judgement still matters at the source.[11], [12], [13], [14]
What the official sources do not say
UNKNOWN from official sources: the reviewed materials do not provide an independently audited count of active production users or guarantee that every named pilot remains active today.
The DKG can preserve provenance and tamper evidence, but those properties do not independently prove that the first publisher's real-world claim was accurate.[14], [1]
What this means when you hold or move TRAC
SwapRocket lists TRAC on Ethereum. Confirm the ERC-20 contract and receiving network before sending, and keep ETH for gas.
OriginTrail operates across multiple blockchain environments, but a token deposit address is network-specific. Do not infer bridge support from the DKG's multichain design; verify the destination explicitly.

Fees and pricing
Zero added fees: SwapRocket does not add a platform fee, a minimum or a withdrawal charge — the rate you see is the rate you get. Blockchain network fees are shown in full before you confirm, and the final amount you receive is quoted up front.
SwapRocket does not add a separate fee or markup to the provider quote. SwapRocket may earn a commission from the liquidity provider when a completed swap is referred through our platform. Provider spreads and applicable network costs are reflected in the quoted amount.
Network fees are set by the blockchain, not by SwapRocket. No account, no subscription and no withdrawal charge. Live support is available 24/7.
TRAC swap FAQ
How do I swap OriginTrail (TRAC) instantly on SwapRocket?
Pick TRAC as the asset you want to receive, choose what you're paying with, paste your wallet address, and confirm. SwapRocket hands your order to the provider whose quote pays out the most at that moment, and most swaps complete in under 10 minutes — no SwapRocket account needed.
Can I swap TRAC with no KYC?
No SwapRocket account or identity documents are needed to start a crypto-to-crypto swap of TRAC. The provider that executes the swap may still request identity verification or hold a swap for review under its own AML and sanctions policy, regardless of amount. Selling to a bank account goes through a regulated payment partner that verifies the payer; card purchases on SwapRocket are coming soon.
Is swapping OriginTrail on SwapRocket non-custodial?
Yes. SwapRocket never holds your funds. The provider that executes the swap receives your deposit, holds it only for the duration of the swap, and sends TRAC to the wallet address you provide.
Which network does TRAC use here?
SwapRocket supports OriginTrail on the ERC20 network. Always double-check that your receiving wallet supports this network before confirming.
What fees apply when I swap TRAC?
SwapRocket adds no fee or markup to the provider's quote and may earn a commission from the provider on a completed swap. The provider's spread and any network cost it deducts on delivery are already reflected in the TRAC amount shown; the network fee your own wallet charges to send the deposit is separate. Spreads vary by provider, pair and size, so compare the quoted receive amount.
