Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about exchanging, buying, and selling crypto on SwapRocket. Still stuck? Reach out from the help center.
What is SwapRocket?
SwapRocket is a non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange. You can swap between 1,000+ assets, or buy and sell with a card, without creating an account.
Do I need to register?
No. Crypto-to-crypto swaps need no account, no email and no ID. Buying or selling with a card is handled by a regulated payment partner, and banks require a one-time identity check on card transactions — that step belongs to them, not to SwapRocket.
How fast is a typical exchange?
Most swaps land in under 10 minutes once your deposit is confirmed on its source network. Slower chains such as Bitcoin and Monero can take longer, especially if you send with a low network fee.
Are there any limits?
Crypto swaps start from roughly $2 and have no upper limit. Card purchases follow our payment partner's daily / monthly thresholds, shown at quote time.
What's the difference between fixed and floating rate?
Fixed rate locks the quote at the moment you start the exchange — you know exactly what you'll receive. Floating rate quotes update with the market until your deposit lands, which can be better when prices move in your favour.
How does SwapRocket make money?
SwapRocket adds no fee of its own — the rate you are quoted is the rate the provider pays out. We earn a referral commission from the liquidity provider on each completed swap, which comes out of their margin and not yours. You still pay the blockchain's own network fee, which goes to miners or validators.
What happens if my exchange fails?
Failed exchanges are refunded to a recovery address you provide at quote time. We never hold your funds: the worst-case is a return-to-sender, never a loss.
