About RedStone (RED)

Crypto token

RedStone (RED) is a crypto token on the ETH network. It powers its project's ecosystem — used for things like access, governance, fees, or rewards — and trades freely against other digital assets.

How does RED work?

RedStone runs as a token on the ETH network, which means it benefits from that chain's security and tooling while serving the specific role its project defines — for example governance votes, platform fees, staking, or in-app utility.

What is RED used for?

Holders use RED to participate in the RedStone ecosystem and to gain exposure to the project's growth. As with any token, its value is tied to real usage and demand for what the project offers.

How a RED swap works

Enter the amount you want to exchange, pick the asset on the other side, and SwapRocket queries every connected exchange partner at once. You choose an offer, paste the wallet address that should receive the funds, and send RED to the deposit address shown. The partner executes the trade and pays out to your address — SwapRocket never holds your coins, and there is no account to create before you start.

Choosing a rate for RED

Three offers are presented for every RED exchange. The best rate returns the largest amount for the size you entered. The fastest route favours the partner with the shortest expected settlement time, which matters when the market is moving. The fixed rate locks the quoted amount for the duration of the order, so what you are shown is what arrives, at the cost of a slightly smaller payout. Floating offers can move with the market between deposit and settlement.

Networks and addresses for RED

RedStone settles on ETH. Always send from and to an address on that network: a deposit sent over a different chain cannot be recovered by the exchange partner. When an asset exists on several chains, pick the matching network in the widget before copying the deposit address, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.

A blockchain cannot look anything up on its own. It doesn't know the price of Bitcoin, the value of a tokenized fund or whether a stablecoin's reserves are really there. Every lending market and every tokenized asset depends on someone bringing that outside information on-chain, accurately and on time. RedStone has built a business doing exactly that across more than a hundred chains. How does it work, and what is RED for?

RedStone describes itself as a data engine for blockchains: a modular oracle network that delivers price feeds, proof of reserves and other data to more than 200 clients across 110+ chains. Founded in April 2021, it now serves both DeFi protocols and institutional tokenized assets. RED is the network's token, which RedStone links to governance, staking and incentives for participants. This profile uses RedStone's official website and its $RED token page.

Why blockchains need oracles

RedStone's token page explains its job plainly. Blockchains need real-time information from the outside world, such as the price of Bitcoin or the value of a tokenized asset. RedStone delivers that data instantly and reliably.

It is blunt about why that matters: without blockchain oracles, DeFi simply doesn't work. Every time someone uses a lending market, they rely on a secure data stream. For tokenized assets, figures such as net asset value and proof of reserves also depend on trusted feeds.

RedStone was founded in April 2021. Its stated mission is to become the most widely used oracle network in DeFi.[1], [2]

One oracle, many chains

The homepage headline is one oracle, every blockchain. RedStone says it supports 110+ chains with Pull, Push and X-Layer delivery models, all with cryptographic guarantees, and covers 1,300+ assets for 200+ clients.

Its product list goes beyond price feeds: proof of reserve for cross-chain and real-world assets; Atom, which it describes as resistant to value extraction by bots; Bolt for sub-second push updates; RedStone Live for real-time monitoring; and RedStone Settle for same-day settlement with real-world asset collateral.

Atom deserves a note. RedStone says it stops bots from extracting value from price updates and returns that value to the protocols that create it — turning a common leak into something protocols keep.[3], [4], [5]

Security and institutions

The homepage reports total value secured of about $9.12 billion at the time of reading, and says the code has been audited 15 times by firms including Halborn, PeckShield, ABDK and Cantina. RedStone also lists ISO 27001 certification and runs a bug bounty programme.

Institutional work features heavily. Its news section highlights coverage of RedStone working with Securitize on oracles for tokenized funds, including BlackRock's BUIDL, and of the Canton network tapping RedStone for DeFi access.

Named backers on the homepage include Aave founder Stani Kulechov, Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal and Ava Labs founder Emin Gün Sirer.[6], [7], [8]

Where RED fits

RedStone's navigation lists the $RED token under governance and staking, and the token page calls it the data bedrock of the new financial system.

The page explains that RED is at the core of the ecosystem: it opens new possibilities for deeper security and decentralisation within the RedStone network while establishing a unit of incentivisation for participants.

The documentation says data providers and RED holders can stake through RedStone's EigenLayer service, adding an economic penalty behind the oracle's promises. Rewards paid by data users can include ETH, BTC, SOL and USDC. That makes RED's role less about paying for each individual data request and more about aligning the people who supply and secure the network.

RED has a documented maximum supply of one billion tokens. RedStone says 72% was initially locked with releases spread over four years; the allocations cover community and genesis participants, protocol development, contributors, the ecosystem and data providers, early backers, liquidity and a launch-pool programme. RedStone also publishes a MiCA white paper linked from its footer.[9], [10], [11], [12], [13]

Supply and staking mechanics

The official documentation describes RED staking and the assets that may fund rewards, but it does not promise a fixed staking rate. The future reward rate and the amount staked at any moment are therefore UNKNOWN rather than projected here.[9]

What this means when you hold or move RED

RED may be available on more than one network. Confirm which network your receiving wallet expects before you send.

Fees and pricing

Zero added fees: SwapRocket does not add a platform fee, a minimum or a withdrawal charge — the rate you see is the rate you get. Blockchain network fees are shown in full before you confirm, and the final amount you receive is quoted up front.

SwapRocket does not add a separate fee or markup to the provider quote. SwapRocket may earn a commission from the liquidity provider when a completed swap is referred through our platform. Provider spreads and applicable network costs are reflected in the quoted amount.

Network fees are set by the blockchain, not by SwapRocket. No account, no subscription and no withdrawal charge. Live support is available 24/7.

RED swap FAQ

How do I swap RedStone (RED) instantly on SwapRocket?

Pick RED as the asset you want to receive, choose what you're paying with, paste your wallet address, and confirm. SwapRocket hands your order to the provider whose quote pays out the most at that moment, and most swaps complete in under 10 minutes — no SwapRocket account needed.

Can I swap RED with no KYC?

No SwapRocket account or identity documents are needed to start a crypto-to-crypto swap of RED. The provider that executes the swap may still request identity verification or hold a swap for review under its own AML and sanctions policy, regardless of amount. Selling to a bank account goes through a regulated payment partner that verifies the payer; card purchases on SwapRocket are coming soon.

Is swapping RedStone on SwapRocket non-custodial?

Yes. SwapRocket never holds your funds. The provider that executes the swap receives your deposit, holds it only for the duration of the swap, and sends RED to the wallet address you provide.

Which network does RED use here?

SwapRocket supports RedStone on the ETH network. Always double-check that your receiving wallet supports this network before confirming.

What fees apply when I swap RED?

SwapRocket adds no fee or markup to the provider's quote and may earn a commission from the provider on a completed swap. The provider's spread and any network cost it deducts on delivery are already reflected in the RED amount shown; the network fee your own wallet charges to send the deposit is separate. Spreads vary by provider, pair and size, so compare the quoted receive amount.
