About MemeCore (M)

Crypto token

MemeCore (M) is a crypto token on the MemeCore network. It powers its project's ecosystem — used for things like access, governance, fees, or rewards — and trades freely against other digital assets.

How does M work?

MemeCore runs as a token on the MemeCore network, which means it benefits from that chain's security and tooling while serving the specific role its project defines — for example governance votes, platform fees, staking, or in-app utility.

What is M used for?

Holders use M to participate in the MemeCore ecosystem and to gain exposure to the project's growth. As with any token, its value is tied to real usage and demand for what the project offers.

How a M swap works

Enter the amount you want to exchange, pick the asset on the other side, and SwapRocket queries every connected exchange partner at once. You choose an offer, paste the wallet address that should receive the funds, and send M to the deposit address shown. The partner executes the trade and pays out to your address — SwapRocket never holds your coins, and there is no account to create before you start.

Choosing a rate for M

Three offers are presented for every M exchange. The best rate returns the largest amount for the size you entered. The fastest route favours the partner with the shortest expected settlement time, which matters when the market is moving. The fixed rate locks the quoted amount for the duration of the order, so what you are shown is what arrives, at the cost of a slightly smaller payout. Floating offers can move with the market between deposit and settlement.

Networks and addresses for M

MemeCore settles on MemeCore. Always send from and to an address on that network: a deposit sent over a different chain cannot be recovered by the exchange partner. When an asset exists on several chains, pick the matching network in the widget before copying the deposit address, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.

Can one native asset coordinate chain security and reward the communities creating activity on that chain?

M is the native asset of MemeCore Mainnet, an EVM-compatible layer-one network built around what its documentation calls Proof of Meme. M pays transaction fees, can be delegated or staked around validator selection, participates in governance and connects to reward systems for meme-token projects. The useful idea is not that a meme becomes valuable because a protocol names it; it is that measurable on-chain participation can be routed through contracts. The open question is how broadly those rewards and validation responsibilities are distributed in practice.

A native coin, not an ERC-20 contract

MemeCore documentation identifies M as the native symbol of MemeCore Mainnet, with chain ID 4352. It is used for gas in the same way a native chain coin funds execution, rather than being described as an ERC-20 token deployed at one contract address. MemeCore is EVM-compatible, so familiar wallet tooling can connect when configured for the correct network.

That distinction matters because M is an unusually short and collision-prone ticker. An asset called M on Ethereum or another chain is not established as MemeCore's native coin merely by its symbol. Network name, chain ID, RPC and the official block explorer provide the identity checks that a ticker alone cannot.[1], [2], [3], [4]

Validator selection combines authority and delegation

The current consensus documentation describes epochs in which selected validators produce blocks using a Clique-like proof-of-authority mechanism, with the validator set chosen through governance and delegation contracts. Separate staking documentation describes active and candidate validators, with ranking influenced by delegated stake and a configurable active-validator count.

M therefore links ordinary network use to security participation: it pays gas, validators stake it, and delegators can assign it to validators. The documentation also describes block rewards routed through system contracts. These mechanics are protocol rules, while any return to a particular participant depends on current configuration, selection and performance rather than a fixed promise.[5], [6], [7], [8]

Proof of Meme extends beyond block production

MemeCore uses the same Proof of Meme name for a wider contribution and reward framework. Its documentation describes MRC-20 meme tokens, automatically associated Meme Vaults and reserves intended to distribute portions of ecosystem rewards among participants. MRC-20 assets are separate application tokens; they are not interchangeable with native M.

The design attempts to make activity visible through on-chain objects rather than rely only on social attention. A project can create a token and vault, while staking and other documented contribution categories connect to reward contracts. Some eligibility criteria are marked as still to be defined, so the framework should be read as a developing mechanism rather than a completed universal measurement of cultural contribution.[9], [10], [11], [12]

EVM compatibility simplifies tools, not identity

Because MemeCore exposes EVM-compatible interfaces, wallets and Solidity tooling can be used with its network settings. The project's node guide points to its Go-based client and standard RPC interfaces. Compatibility helps developers reuse tools, but it does not turn assets on two EVM chains into the same asset or make deposits portable between them.

The official bridge guide reviewed here documents inbound stablecoin transfers through Meson, where supported assets arrive as USDC.e. It does not establish a universal native-M bridge. Any service offering M on another chain needs its own verified route and custody model; those details cannot be inferred from MemeCore's stablecoin guide.[2], [13], [14], [15]

The current architecture is still being refined

MemeCore's consensus page explicitly labels parts of the Meme 2.0 structure as under development, and some Proof of Meme eligibility criteria are marked to be announced. The exact present concentration of validator control, delegated M and reward receipt among independently controlled parties is UNKNOWN from the static documentation reviewed here.

That does not make the documented mechanism unusable; it defines what should be measured as it develops. A constructive assessment should track active validator diversity, parameter changes, realized reward distribution and which contribution rules are actually enforced by deployed contracts rather than treating roadmap language as completed functionality.[5], [9], [7], [4]

What this means when you hold or move M

Confirm MemeCore Mainnet, chain ID 4352, before sending native M. Use the official explorer at memecorescan.io to check the transaction. Do not paste an unrelated token contract into a wallet and assume that it represents this asset; the first-party documentation reviewed here identifies M as the network's native coin and does not publish a native-token contract address.

Staking or delegation involves system contracts and validator selection, not merely leaving M in a wallet. Review current contract interfaces and reward parameters before participating. For bridging, verify the specific provider and supported direction; the official guide available during this review documents stablecoins, not a general guarantee for moving native M across chains.
