About DeXe (DEXE)
Crypto token
DeXe (DEXE) is a crypto token on the ERC20 network. It powers its project's ecosystem — used for things like access, governance, fees, or rewards — and trades freely against other digital assets.
How does DEXE work?
DeXe runs as a token on the ERC20 network, which means it benefits from that chain's security and tooling while serving the specific role its project defines — for example governance votes, platform fees, staking, or in-app utility.
What is DEXE used for?
Holders use DEXE to participate in the DeXe ecosystem and to gain exposure to the project's growth. As with any token, its value is tied to real usage and demand for what the project offers.

How a DEXE swap works
Enter the amount you want to exchange, pick the asset on the other side, and SwapRocket queries every connected exchange partner at once. You choose an offer, paste the wallet address that should receive the funds, and send DEXE to the deposit address shown. The partner executes the trade and pays out to your address — SwapRocket never holds your coins, and there is no account to create before you start.
Choosing a rate for DEXE
Three offers are presented for every DEXE exchange. The best rate returns the largest amount for the size you entered. The fastest route favours the partner with the shortest expected settlement time, which matters when the market is moving. The fixed rate locks the quoted amount for the duration of the order, so what you are shown is what arrives, at the cost of a slightly smaller payout. Floating offers can move with the market between deposit and settlement.
Networks and addresses for DEXE
DeXe settles on ERC20. Always send from and to an address on that network: a deposit sent over a different chain cannot be recovered by the exchange partner. When an asset exists on several chains, pick the matching network in the widget before copying the deposit address, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.

DeXe builds ready-made machinery for running decentralized organisations, or DAOs. How do its governance contracts work, and what role does the DEXE token play in running DeXe's own DAO?
Starting a DAO usually means writing and auditing a lot of custom code for proposals, voting, treasuries and upgrades. DeXe offers that as shared infrastructure: a set of contracts any community can deploy to create a DAO with proposals, votes and a treasury already in place. DeXe also runs its own DAO on the same tools, and the DEXE token is how that DAO makes decisions. This profile explains the design using DeXe's documentation, white paper and announcements.
DAO infrastructure for anyone
DeXe's documentation describes more than 50 smart contracts, organised into core, governance and factory groups. Together they let a community create a DAO without writing its governance system from scratch.
In November 2023 DeXe announced the release of DeXe DAO Studio, the interface for creating and running DAOs on top of these contracts.[1], [3]
How a DAO is organised
Each DAO created through the protocol has a small set of governance contracts. At the centre is GovPool, the shared space where members propose, vote on and carry out decisions.
DeXe's proposal life-cycle guide walks through each stage, from creating a proposal to voting and execution, so members can see exactly how a decision moves forward.[4], [5]
Upgrades through a central registry
The protocol uses a ContractsRegistry contract as a central record of its essential contracts. According to the documentation, this is what allows the protocol to be upgraded in an orderly way.
A single registry makes it easier for anyone to check which contracts are current.[2]
What DEXE does
DeXe's white paper describes DEXE as the native utility and governance token of the DeXe Protocol DAO. Holders use it to propose, vote on and carry out that DAO's decisions.
The same section explains that DEXE also funds rewards, fees and grants from the DAO treasury, linking the token to how the protocol is maintained and grown.[6], [7]
Governance in public view
DeXe's own DAO page shows proposals, a performance score and the treasury balance, updated live. Members can create proposals from there.
Running its own organisation on the same tools it offers to others gives DeXe a working example of its infrastructure in daily use.[8]
Why shared DAO machinery helps
Each new DAO that writes its own governance code has to test and secure it separately. Using a shared set of audited contracts means communities can start from a common, documented base and focus on their own decisions instead of on building voting systems.
DeXe's factory contracts create new DAOs from that base, the GovPool contract gives each one the same clear process for proposals and votes, and the registry keeps track of which versions are current.
For members, that consistency means the steps for proposing and voting look the same from one DeXe-based DAO to the next. The proposal life-cycle guide documents those steps for everyone, from drafting a proposal to seeing it carried out on-chain.[1], [5], [2]
Expert delegates and voting weight
DeXe's governance design includes a role for expert delegates whose votes can carry extra weight. The documentation reviewed does not explain in detail how an expert's credentials are confirmed before that extra weight applies.
That process is UNKNOWN from public sources and is not guessed at here.[6]
What this means when you hold or move DEXE
SwapRocket lists DEXE on Ethereum (ERC-20). Send it only to an Ethereum address from a wallet or service that supports ERC-20 tokens, and keep a little ETH for network fees.
An official DEXE contract address could not be confirmed on a DeXe page for this profile, so it is not listed here; check it in your wallet or exchange before sending. Keep the transaction ID until the order completes.

Fees and pricing
Zero added fees: SwapRocket does not add a platform fee, a minimum or a withdrawal charge — the rate you see is the rate you get. Blockchain network fees are shown in full before you confirm, and the final amount you receive is quoted up front.
SwapRocket does not add a separate fee or markup to the provider quote. SwapRocket may earn a commission from the liquidity provider when a completed swap is referred through our platform. Provider spreads and applicable network costs are reflected in the quoted amount.
Network fees are set by the blockchain, not by SwapRocket. No account, no subscription and no withdrawal charge. Live support is available 24/7.
DEXE swap FAQ
How do I swap DeXe (DEXE) instantly on SwapRocket?
Pick DEXE as the asset you want to receive, choose what you're paying with, paste your wallet address, and confirm. SwapRocket hands your order to the provider whose quote pays out the most at that moment, and most swaps complete in under 10 minutes — no SwapRocket account needed.
Can I swap DEXE with no KYC?
No SwapRocket account or identity documents are needed to start a crypto-to-crypto swap of DEXE. The provider that executes the swap may still request identity verification or hold a swap for review under its own AML and sanctions policy, regardless of amount. Selling to a bank account goes through a regulated payment partner that verifies the payer; card purchases on SwapRocket are coming soon.
Is swapping DeXe on SwapRocket non-custodial?
Yes. SwapRocket never holds your funds. The provider that executes the swap receives your deposit, holds it only for the duration of the swap, and sends DEXE to the wallet address you provide.
Which network does DEXE use here?
SwapRocket supports DeXe on the ERC20 network. Always double-check that your receiving wallet supports this network before confirming.
What fees apply when I swap DEXE?
SwapRocket adds no fee or markup to the provider's quote and may earn a commission from the provider on a completed swap. The provider's spread and any network cost it deducts on delivery are already reflected in the DEXE amount shown; the network fee your own wallet charges to send the deposit is separate. Spreads vary by provider, pair and size, so compare the quoted receive amount.
