About Aster (ASTER)

Crypto token

Aster (ASTER) is a crypto token on the BSC network. It powers its project's ecosystem — used for things like access, governance, fees, or rewards — and trades freely against other digital assets.

How does ASTER work?

Aster runs as a token on the BSC network, which means it benefits from that chain's security and tooling while serving the specific role its project defines — for example governance votes, platform fees, staking, or in-app utility.

What is ASTER used for?

Holders use ASTER to participate in the Aster ecosystem and to gain exposure to the project's growth. As with any token, its value is tied to real usage and demand for what the project offers.

How a ASTER swap works

Enter the amount you want to exchange, pick the asset on the other side, and SwapRocket queries every connected exchange partner at once. You choose an offer, paste the wallet address that should receive the funds, and send ASTER to the deposit address shown. The partner executes the trade and pays out to your address — SwapRocket never holds your coins, and there is no account to create before you start.

Choosing a rate for ASTER

Three offers are presented for every ASTER exchange. The best rate returns the largest amount for the size you entered. The fastest route favours the partner with the shortest expected settlement time, which matters when the market is moving. The fixed rate locks the quoted amount for the duration of the order, so what you are shown is what arrives, at the cost of a slightly smaller payout. Floating offers can move with the market between deposit and settlement.

Networks and addresses for ASTER

Aster settles on BSC. Always send from and to an address on that network: a deposit sent over a different chain cannot be recovered by the exchange partner. When an asset exists on several chains, pick the matching network in the widget before copying the deposit address, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.

Aster is a decentralized exchange for perpetual futures and spot trading that is building its own chain. How do its privacy-focused trading, its fee buyback rules and its staking system connect to the ASTER token?

Decentralized exchanges face a basic tension. Traders want the speed and discretion of a professional venue, while a public blockchain shows every order to everyone. Aster describes itself as a privacy-focused decentralized exchange and is building Aster Chain, its own base network, to handle trading at high speed. The ASTER token sits at the centre of that plan: it is staked on the chain, earns a share of platform fees through buybacks, and has a published path toward a smaller total supply. This profile explains the design using Aster's own documentation and code.

A privacy-focused exchange

Aster's documentation describes the platform as a privacy-focused decentralized exchange offering perpetual futures, a Shield Mode, very high leverage products and spot trading. The goal is to give on-chain traders some of the discretion they would expect from a traditional venue.

Part of the platform runs on Aster Chain, a base network the project is building for trading. Aster's documentation sets high speed targets for it, including more than 100,000 transactions per second and very short block times.[1], [8]

The ASTER token and its supply

Aster's token overview states that ASTER is a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain with a maximum supply of 8,000,000,000, and publishes the official token address, 0x000Ae314E2A2172a039B26378814C252734f556A.

The tokenomics page sets out how that supply was divided. More than half was allocated to airdrops, 30% to the ecosystem and community, and smaller shares to the treasury, the team, and liquidity and listings.[2], [3]

Fees that return to stakers

A tokenomics upgrade described in Aster's documentation directs 99% of daily platform fees to automatic ASTER buybacks. The bought tokens go to veASTER stakers, and an equal amount is burned.

According to the same page, this continues until the total supply falls to 3,000,000,000. That links the token's supply directly to how much the exchange is used, under a rule written down in advance.[4]

Staking on Aster Chain

ASTER holders can stake on Aster Chain by delegating to validators. The staking documentation allows lock periods of up to 208 weeks, about four years, and longer locks carry more weight for loyalty rewards.

Aster's staking FAQ explains how rewards and veASTER weight are calculated, so stakers can see how lock length affects what they receive.[5], [6]

Several networks, one official list

Aster accepts deposits from several networks. Its smart-contracts page lists the official deposit contracts on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana and Sui, together with contracts for its Earn products.

Keeping every address on one official page helps users check that they are sending funds to the right contract, and the project's code is published on GitHub.[7], [8]

Why the fee rule matters

Many exchange tokens depend on decisions made case by case about buybacks or burns. Aster's documentation writes the rule down instead: a fixed share of daily platform fees goes to buybacks, stakers receive the purchased tokens, and an equal amount leaves circulation for good.

Because the rule stops once supply reaches its stated target, holders can see both how the mechanism works and when it is meant to end. That kind of clarity makes it easier to judge the token on its own terms, and the tokenomics page records the details in one place.[4], [3]

How order privacy is achieved

Aster presents privacy as a core feature, but the documentation reviewed does not name the exact cryptographic method used to keep orders confidential before they are settled, or how that method is independently checked.

That detail is UNKNOWN from public sources and is not guessed at here.[1]

What this means when you hold or move ASTER

SwapRocket lists ASTER on BNB Chain (BEP-20). Send it only to a BNB Chain address from a wallet or service that supports BEP-20 tokens, keep a little BNB for network fees, and confirm the token address against Aster's official documentation.

Staked or locked ASTER cannot be moved until its lock ends. A swap provider sets its own confirmation policy before releasing the destination coin. Keep the transaction ID until the order completes, and back up your recovery phrase.

Fees and pricing

Zero added fees: SwapRocket does not add a platform fee, a minimum or a withdrawal charge — the rate you see is the rate you get. Blockchain network fees are shown in full before you confirm, and the final amount you receive is quoted up front.

SwapRocket does not add a separate fee or markup to the provider quote. SwapRocket may earn a commission from the liquidity provider when a completed swap is referred through our platform. Provider spreads and applicable network costs are reflected in the quoted amount.

Network fees are set by the blockchain, not by SwapRocket. No account, no subscription and no withdrawal charge. Live support is available 24/7.
