About DoubleZero (2Z)

Crypto token

DoubleZero (2Z) is a crypto token on the Solana network. It powers its project's ecosystem — used for things like access, governance, fees, or rewards — and trades freely against other digital assets.

How does 2Z work?

DoubleZero runs as a token on the Solana network, which means it benefits from that chain's security and tooling while serving the specific role its project defines — for example governance votes, platform fees, staking, or in-app utility.

What is 2Z used for?

Holders use 2Z to participate in the DoubleZero ecosystem and to gain exposure to the project's growth. As with any token, its value is tied to real usage and demand for what the project offers.

How a 2Z swap works

Enter the amount you want to exchange, pick the asset on the other side, and SwapRocket queries every connected exchange partner at once. You choose an offer, paste the wallet address that should receive the funds, and send 2Z to the deposit address shown. The partner executes the trade and pays out to your address — SwapRocket never holds your coins, and there is no account to create before you start.

Choosing a rate for 2Z

Three offers are presented for every 2Z exchange. The best rate returns the largest amount for the size you entered. The fastest route favours the partner with the shortest expected settlement time, which matters when the market is moving. The fixed rate locks the quoted amount for the duration of the order, so what you are shown is what arrives, at the cost of a slightly smaller payout. Floating offers can move with the market between deposit and settlement.

Networks and addresses for 2Z

DoubleZero settles on Solana. Always send from and to an address on that network: a deposit sent over a different chain cannot be recovered by the exchange partner. When an asset exists on several chains, pick the matching network in the widget before copying the deposit address, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure.

Blockchains usually run over the public internet. DoubleZero builds a dedicated fiber network for them instead. How does that network work, and why does it need a token?

Most discussions about blockchain speed focus on software: consensus rules, block sizes, execution engines. DoubleZero looks one layer lower, at the cables. Its argument is that validators and trading systems are held back by the unpredictable routing of the public internet, and that a shared network of dedicated fiber, contributed by many operators and coordinated by a token, can do better.

What DoubleZero is

DoubleZero's documentation describes it as a high-performance decentralized protocol and network optimized for distributed systems such as blockchains. Its users receive an integrated service for transmitting and pre-processing data between nodes.

The documentation is direct about the comparison: the only alternative to DoubleZero, it says, is the public internet. The project's aim is to give blockchain nodes a faster and more predictable path than general-purpose internet routing can offer.[1], [2]

Two sides of the network

DoubleZero has contributors and users. Contributors are organizations with underused private fiber links and hardware, such as network switches and FPGA devices. By configuring those resources to join DoubleZero, they extend a global mesh network and receive token incentives for doing so.

Users are participants in distributed systems that need high-performance connectivity. In its initial implementation the network works with blockchain validator clients and with RPC and MEV infrastructure providers. Access is controlled: user systems are admitted by verifying their public key addresses on their own ledgers, and the project says it will add identification methods tailored to other ecosystems as they join.

The documentation lists Solana, Hyperliquid, Kalshi and Shelby among the ecosystems it provides setup guidance for, which shows the network is aimed at both blockchains and trading or prediction-market systems.

This structure is what makes 2Z necessary. Contributors provide real physical capacity, and the token is the mechanism that rewards them for it and aligns a distributed group of operators around keeping the network fast and available.[3], [4], [5], [6]

How it improves on the public internet

DoubleZero describes two main improvements. The first is edge filtering: removing spam and duplicate transactions at the contributor hardware level before traffic reaches validators, so each validator does not need to provision its own filtering capacity. The documentation openly notes that this feature is not yet functional.

The second is routing. Outbound messages take more direct, prioritized paths, which reduces jitter, the variation in latency between two endpoints. In practice, the documentation says, nodes can send and receive blocks faster.

The project's site also presents products built on the same network: low-latency market-data feeds under the DoubleZero Edge name, multicast distribution of live data, and location verification that uses round-trip latency to produce a cryptographic proof of where a server actually is.[7], [8], [9]

The open trade-off

A network built from contributed fiber is only as strong as the contributors who join and stay. Coverage, redundancy and performance depend on how many operators take part and where their links run, and the long-run balance between token incentives and real usage fees is UNKNOWN from the official sources reviewed.

One of the two headline benefits, edge filtering, is described by the project itself as not yet functional, so its real-world effect cannot yet be assessed.[7], [3]

What this means if you swap 2Z

SwapRocket lists 2Z on Solana. Use a wallet that supports Solana tokens and check that the receiving address is a Solana address before confirming a swap.

Solana tokens are identified by their mint address, and similarly named tokens can exist. If you add 2Z manually to a wallet, take the token address from DoubleZero's official channels rather than from a search result.

Compare the amount you will receive, not just the rate, and send a small test amount to a new wallet before moving a larger balance.

Fees and pricing

Zero added fees: SwapRocket does not add a platform fee, a minimum or a withdrawal charge — the rate you see is the rate you get. Blockchain network fees are shown in full before you confirm, and the final amount you receive is quoted up front.

SwapRocket does not add a separate fee or markup to the provider quote. SwapRocket may earn a commission from the liquidity provider when a completed swap is referred through our platform. Provider spreads and applicable network costs are reflected in the quoted amount.

Network fees are set by the blockchain, not by SwapRocket. No account, no subscription and no withdrawal charge. Live support is available 24/7.

2Z swap FAQ

How do I swap DoubleZero (2Z) instantly on SwapRocket?

Pick 2Z as the asset you want to receive, choose what you're paying with, paste your wallet address, and confirm. SwapRocket hands your order to the provider whose quote pays out the most at that moment, and most swaps complete in under 10 minutes — no SwapRocket account needed.

Can I swap 2Z with no KYC?

No SwapRocket account or identity documents are needed to start a crypto-to-crypto swap of 2Z. The provider that executes the swap may still request identity verification or hold a swap for review under its own AML and sanctions policy, regardless of amount. Selling to a bank account goes through a regulated payment partner that verifies the payer; card purchases on SwapRocket are coming soon.

Is swapping DoubleZero on SwapRocket non-custodial?

Yes. SwapRocket never holds your funds. The provider that executes the swap receives your deposit, holds it only for the duration of the swap, and sends 2Z to the wallet address you provide.

Which network does 2Z use here?

SwapRocket supports DoubleZero on the Solana network. Always double-check that your receiving wallet supports this network before confirming.

What fees apply when I swap 2Z?

SwapRocket adds no fee or markup to the provider's quote and may earn a commission from the provider on a completed swap. The provider's spread and any network cost it deducts on delivery are already reflected in the 2Z amount shown; the network fee your own wallet charges to send the deposit is separate. Spreads vary by provider, pair and size, so compare the quoted receive amount.
