What 0x is
0x was founded by Will Warren and Amir Bandeali around a question that seemed niche at the time: if tokens were going to live on Ethereum, how would people trade them without handing custody to an exchange? ZRX gives holders a voice in how the protocol evolves. Governance proposals, known as ZEIPs, are discussed in public and put to a ZRX vote, and holders can delegate their voting power. The project's long-term bet is that token trading should be a shared public utility that any app can use.
