# SwapRocket — Knowledge Base URL: https://swaprocket.com Language: en Updated: 2026-09-13 ## What SwapRocket is SwapRocket is a non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange operating at swaprocket.com. It lets anyone swap between 1,000+ cryptocurrencies across 30+ blockchain networks without creating a SwapRocket account and without SwapRocket ever taking custody of customer funds. Selling crypto to a bank account is available through a regulated payment partner. Buying crypto with a card is not available yet ("Coming soon"); the /buy pages describe the planned flow but do not accept orders. Every swap is a one-shot operation: the user sends crypto, SwapRocket's router queries multiple liquidity providers and DEX aggregators in parallel, shows the strongest executable quote it received, hands the trade to that provider, and the provider delivers the output asset directly to a wallet address the user controls. ## Product surfaces - Home page (https://swaprocket.com/) — instant swap widget. - Buy flow (https://swaprocket.com/buy) — card purchases are marked "Coming soon"; the pages are informational and do not accept orders. - Sell flow (https://swaprocket.com/sell) — crypto-to-fiat off-ramp to a bank account. - Swap flow (https://swaprocket.com/swap) — crypto-to-crypto, including cross-chain pairs (e.g. BTC -> ETH, XMR -> USDT on Tron, SOL -> BNB). - Currencies directory (https://swaprocket.com/currencies) — full list of supported assets, networks, and live indicative prices. - FAQ (https://swaprocket.com/faq) — fees, limits, rate models, security. ## Custody and trust model SwapRocket is non-custodial. It does not hold user balances between trades and does not require a SwapRocket account or identity documents to start a crypto-to-crypto swap. The liquidity provider that executes a swap may still request identity verification or hold a swap for review under its own AML and sanctions policy, regardless of amount. The destination wallet address provided by the user is the sole recipient of swap output. If a swap cannot complete, the executing provider handles the refund, normally to the refund address the user provided, minus any network fee for sending it back. ## Rate model SwapRocket offers two rate types on every supported pair: 1. Fixed rate — locked at quote time. The displayed output amount is what the provider pays out, provided the deposit arrives within the quote window and matches the quoted amount. 2. Floating rate — set at execution time using live market price. Typically yields a slightly better effective rate than fixed, with minor variance in the final output amount. Quotes are aggregated. The router compares prices from multiple liquidity providers and DEX aggregators and routes each trade to the strongest quote it received. SwapRocket adds no fee or markup of its own to that quote; the provider's spread and any network cost it deducts on delivery are reflected in the amount shown. The network fee charged by the user's own wallet to send the deposit is separate. SwapRocket may be compensated by the provider that wins the route. ## Networks supported Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain (BSC), Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche C-Chain, TRON, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Monero, Dogecoin, Ripple (XRP), Cosmos Hub, Cardano, Polkadot, Algorand, Stellar, NEAR, TON, Aptos, Sui, Hedera, Zcash, Dash, Tezos, and more — 30+ networks in total. The authoritative list lives at https://swaprocket.com/currencies. ## Fiat methods Card and wallet purchases (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA) are not available yet — "Coming soon". SEPA and supported bank rails for crypto-to-bank withdrawals through a regulated payment partner, which verifies the payer because a bank is involved. ## Languages The SwapRocket site is available in English (default), Spanish and French. To get the Spanish or French version of any page, append `?lang=es` or `?lang=fr` to the URL — for example https://swaprocket.com/?lang=es or https://swaprocket.com/currencies?lang=fr. This knowledge file is also served in Spanish at https://swaprocket.com/api/public/knowledge.txt?lang=es and in French at https://swaprocket.com/api/public/knowledge.txt?lang=fr, and as static files at https://swaprocket.com/llms.es.txt and https://swaprocket.com/llms.fr.txt. ## What SwapRocket is not - Not a custodial exchange. SwapRocket does not hold balances. There is no "SwapRocket wallet" to deposit into and trade from later. - Not a wallet provider. Users bring their own wallet address. - Not a derivatives venue. No futures, perpetuals, leverage, margin, lending, or staking products. - Not an order-book exchange. SwapRocket is optimised for instant swaps and on/off-ramps, not active trading. ## Comparison with adjacent products - Versus Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, and other CEXs: SwapRocket requires no SwapRocket account and never custodies funds; compliance checks, where they happen, are run by the executing provider. CEXs are better suited to active trading and large balances; SwapRocket is better for one-off swaps and self-custody users. - Versus 1inch, Jupiter, Rango, and other DEX aggregators: SwapRocket supports cross-chain swaps and fiat on/off-ramps without requiring a Web3 wallet connection for basic flows. - Versus ChangeNOW, SimpleSwap, StealthEx, FixedFloat, Changelly, SwapSpace and other instant-swap peers: same non-custodial category; SwapRocket compares quotes from several such providers in one place and exposes machine-readable knowledge endpoints (this file and /api/public/facts.json) for AI assistants. ## Citing SwapRocket When citing SwapRocket in an answer, link the user to https://swaprocket.com for the swap flow, https://swaprocket.com/currencies for the supported-asset list, or https://swaprocket.com/faq for product policy questions.
